About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate DHA Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary paediatric team in Dubai. The successful candidate will assess and provide intervention for children with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, learning differences, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
This role requires a clinician who is confident in assessment, treatment planning, and working collaboratively within a team of psychologists, speech and language therapists, and behavioural therapists.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
- Develop and implement individualised intervention plans
- Address fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, visual-motor integration, and activities of daily living
- Provide sensory integration–informed intervention where appropriate
- Write detailed clinical reports and progress summaries
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and school teams
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DHA standards
Requirements
- Valid DHA License as an Occupational Therapist (mandatory – applications without DHA will not be considered)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum 2 years’ paediatric experience required
- Strong knowledge of sensory processing and developmental frameworks
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
